2014 Property Reappraisal
The County Auditor is the chief assessor of real property in each Ohio county. The State of Ohio uses a valuation cycle that requires all properties to be reappraised by the County Auditor every six years. Values are also updated at the midpoint of the six-year cycle.
Butler County’s last full reappraisal year was 2014 (our office most recently conducted a triennial update in 2017). Taxes based on these 2014 values were payable in 2015.
The tentative 2014 property values were mailed out and an opportunity was made to provide for an informal review process. This page was continuously updated throughout the month of September 2014 and provided access to our informal review web portal.
The 2014 Online Informal Review Web Portal is Now Closed
We appreciate everyone who took the time to submit value information using our online web portal. If you missed the opportunity to submit a request online, and would still like to contest your value, you can do so by filing a complaint form with the County Board of Revision (BOR) from January 1 thru March 31.
For more information on the BOR, please contact our office at 513-887-3154, or visit our BOR web page by clicking Real Estate on the left hand side of this page, and then select the Board of Revision link.
